Adagio
The Soul of Beethoven featuring Timothy Alexandre Wallace, piano Adagio (from Italian ad agio, 'at ease') a tempo marking indicating that music is to be played slowly. This performance features select Adagio movements from Ludwig van Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas, which rank alongside his symphonies and string quartets as his most extraordinary achievements. These sonatas provide a window into his personal musical development and highlight the piano as an evolving instrument. |

A Celebration: The Joy of Nostalgia The Jerrod Cattey Trio presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Connecticut-based jazz group The Jerrod Cattey Trio will perform music from the soundtrack of the beloved holiday television classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas. The performance will include many of pianist Vince Guaraldi's memorable compositions, such as Christmas Time is Here, Skating, and the most recognizable Peanuts anthem, Linus and Lucy. The trio is comprised of drummer Jerrod Cattey of Torrington, pianist Darren Litzie of Milford, and bassist Kevin Smith of Manhattan. |

Friday - December 30 - 7:00pm Adrian Untermyer in Concert Jazz piano 7:00pm - Potluck Supper 7:45 - Performance Jazz lovers will celebrate the New Year early this year with an exclusive performance by pianist Adrian Untermyer on Friday, December 30th at 7:45 PM. The concert will feature Untermyer’s original improvisations and refashioned jazz standards performed on a nine-foot German Steinway piano, and will include special guest appearances by classical pianist Timothy Alexandre Wallace and Los Angeles-based modern dancer Ava Untermyer. Born outside Chicago and raised in northern Connecticut, pianist Adrian Untermyer brings his unique blend of Jazz, Rock, and R&B to stages large and small throughout New York City and the Northeast. A 2008 graduate of the prestigious Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, Untermyer lives in Manhattan, where he performs throughout Greenwich Village, TriBeCa and the Upper West Side. In addition to his extensive work as a solo artist, Untermyer also appears with Billboard chart-topper Kim Sozzi and serves as the Hammond organist for Harlem-based jam band Grant’s Tomb.
