The Andrew Wilcox Quartet is a new group featuring the new up and coming talent from the Hartford area.
The members of the group, all students or recent graduates of the Hartt School’s Jackie McLean Institute, began playing together in the Fall of 2017 under the musical direction of pianist Andrew Wilcox. Brought together originally to play the music written by Andrew, the group expanded their repertoire to include the music of jazz titans like Cedar Walton, McCoy Tyner and Billy Harper.
