Pianist Marko Stuparevic has appeared in over 500 concerts in the U.S., Israel, France, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Slovakia. He has won top prizes in the “Dmitar Nenov”, “American Protege”, “Petar Konjovic”, “Vojislav Vuckovic”, “Josip Slavenski” and “Nikolai Rubinstein” competitions resulting in performances with the Razgrad Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra of the Army House of Serbia, and the National Symphony of Bulgaria. Since in the USA, in 5 years Mr. Stuparevic has performed more than 200 times as a solo performer, chamber musician and collaborative artist in New York, Connecticut and Arizona. Besides many notable solo recitals and his recent solo debut in Carnegie Weill Hall, Mr. Stuparevic also performed with “20/20 Chamber Honors Program”, “Vagus Trio”, “HICO”, “Foot in the door”, “Dahlia Duo”, “Celesti Sondato” and “016”. He performed on "Women Music Festival", "New Music Festival", "LaMama Moves Festival" in New York City with the principal “Martha Graham” dancer Miki Orihara, and many other events. He has collaborated with many notable conductors - Simone Fermani, Stanislav Ushev, Krasen Ivanov, Edward Cummings, Glen Adsit, Joseph Hodge, etc. Recent performances include a concert in Jewish Museum in NYC with internationally acclaimed double-bassist Robert Black and Hartt Bass Band, performances with Hartt Dance School, solo recital in Atria Hamilton Heights in West Hartford, CT and performances as a member of “Icarus Duo” with saxophonist Joseph Abad. From 2011-2015 Mr. Stuparevic has received the “Evelyn Bonar Storrs” scholarship from the Musical Club of Hartford for the excellence in piano performance. Mr. Stuparevic is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree (DMA) at The Hartt School of Music working with an internationally acclaimed pianist Dr. Paul Rutman. Mr. Stuparevic holds a Master of Music degree from The Hartt School of Music and Bachelor Degree from University of Arts, Belgrade, Serbia. His previous teachers include Jokut Mihailovic, Phillip Kawin, Hristina Vukovic and Bozena Griner. He also worked with Anne Koscielny, Colin Stone, Garrick Ohlsson, Roswitha Gediga, Arbo Valdma, Tijana Humo-Rajevac, Aleksandar Sandorov… Additionally, he is working as a Piano Teaching Fellow at The Hartt School of Music and The Hartt Community Division. Mr. Stuparevic is a dedicated teacher and member of MTNA, CSMTA and HMTA. His students have won competition prizes in Serbia and the US, and have been accepted into music programs at many universities. |

Corey Garcia
Born and raised in Queens, New York, percussionist and composer Corey Garcia has been immersed in the New York jazz scene from a very young age. As a student at LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts, he studied classical and jazz percussion and performed with a combo assembled as part of LaGuardia's collaboration with the Thelonious Monk Institute. Garcia and his compositions have appeared at various notable venues in New York and Connecticut, including Dizzy's Club Coca Cola, The 9th Note Jazz Club, The Side Door Jazz Club, Black Eyed Sally's, Somethin' Jazz, and seeds::brooklyn. Garcia also performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC with the Mike Casey Trio. He now studies jazz performance at the Jackie McLean Institute at the Hartt School.

Mike took the saxophone like a fish to water in the 5th grade, in his hometown of Storrs, CT. Seeking more musical opportunities, he began attending the Greater Hartford Academy for the Performing Arts in high school, where he graduated from the jazz proram. He then went on to attend the acclaimed Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz (University of Hartford's Hartt School, CT). While at Hartt he was fortunate to study with acclaimed jazz artists such as, saxophonists Abraham Burton, Rene McLean, & Javon Jackson, trombonist Steve Davis, and bassist Nat Reeves. He has garnered press in The Hartford Courant, AllAboutJazz.com, The New Haven Register, WNPR, and others. Nominated for “Best Jazz” in the Hartford Advocate’s “CT Music Awards”, Mike has played to audiences of all ages and backgrounds across the State. He has shared the stage with notable jazz artists such as Charles Tolliver, Marc Cary, Dezron Douglas, Bertha Hope, Rashaan Carter, Ben Williams, Brandee Younger, Benito Gonzalez, Rene McLean, Steve Davis, and Nat Reeves.
In early 2015, Mike was one of 24 young jazz musicians/composers worldwide selected to participate in the prestigious 2 week “Betty Carter Jazz Ahead” program at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., where he was fortunate to learn from celebrated jazz artists Jason Moran, Eric Harland, Eric Revis, J.D. Allen, Carmen Lundy, Andre Hayward, and Cyrus Chestnut. Mike has performed at well-respected venues such as The Kennedy Center (DC), Dizzy’s Club (Jazz at Lincoln Center, NYC), Minton’s & Smalls Jazz Club (NYC), and the Hard Rock Cafe (Boston), as well as numerous venues across CT. He is also a teaching artist with 4 years of experience teaching the saxophone to all ages.
Mike has enchanted audiences young & old alike, performing a unique blend of upbeat, accessible, original music and exciting arrangements of jazz standards with a mature lyricism and a sound that commands the attention of the audience.

RJ Avallone Artist, Musician, Composer b. September 23, 1980 Torrington Connecticut RJ began playing the trumpet in 1989. Since then he has performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages including New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, The Waldorf Astoria, Birdland, Cafe Wha?, The Nassau Coliseum, Brooklyn Bowl, The MGM Grand Las Vegas, Symphony Hall Boston,The Newport Jazz Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival, Flood City Music Festival, The Festival of New Trumpet Music, and countless others. RJ has performed with acclaimed artists across many genres including Kelly Clarkson, Natalie Cole, Patti Austin, Michael Buble, Steven Tyler, Bobby Short, Charnett Moffett, Stanley Jordan, Will Callhoun, Aaron Scott, and Michel Camilo. Timothy Alexandre Wallace
Mr. Wallace has enjoyed a rich and rewarding career as a pianist and composer. He has concertized nationally as a soloist, and has performed , composed and arranged music for ballet companies, theatres, schools and churches. Additionally, Mr. Wallace is a private piano instructor, with over 30 years experience teaching students of all ages. He is honored to have students who have continued more intensive study at universities and conservatories in the United States and Europe. In the fall of 2008, he founded the Alexandre School of Piano, dedicated to excellence in the teaching and performance of piano, and only piano. Mr. Wallace is a member of the American Guild of Organists and a performing member of the improvisational group Improvelocity.
